Mossop

Following a long and fine tradition at Filth; Mossop’s DJ career began and continues in other people’s bedrooms. Having been bitten by the techno bug in ‘95 Mossop began honing his mixing skills on the decks of various friends, with whatever records they happened to have at hand, usually Drum & Bass as it was what a lot of his mates were into at the time.

His love for techno began when he started to go to the Samovar parties at Deluxe and like many was soon buying Stay Up Forever, Cluster, Routemaster and many other of the labels that became the stalwarts of the acid tekno movement.

Since then he has developed diverse tastes in techno, with his sets mixing the harder European loop sound from the likes of Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer and Thomas Krome, with more bassline driven, wonkier stuff from the labels like Sativae, Scandanavia and Mosquito.
