Paul Langley started DJing in ‘85 playing Hip-Hop / Soul, managing to mix his way into the DMC mixing championships in 88. Langley joined a Hip-Hop group called Sylk Kutin 88 and played a mini UK tour with De La Soul / Sugar Bear. In late ‘88 that Paul started buying House / Techno and moved into the new Acid house scene.
Langley co-ran a weekly club night in Leicester Square, London in ‘94 called Iconelastic then he started playing a weekly radio show on London’s infamous Chillin’ FM 102.9. and has also done various guest mixes on www.dj-sets.com. After hearing a mixtape of Paul’s, he hooked up with DJ Rush in 1997 and went on to play alongside him at Berlin’s Love Parade weekend and then the following week at Wuppertal’s U-Club. Langley then bought his first pieces of studio equipment and turned his attention to production he has since had numerous releases and worked with the likes of DJ Rush, Justin Berkovi, Mark Hawkins and many more. He has also his own label, Jackstar Recordings, his chicago inspired label, to realise his dream of pushing the jackin’ sound of Chicago techno in Europe and the UK.
