Music Archive: Aaron Liberator
November 12, 2008
Yes, you lucky, lucky people, a recording of Aaron Liberator on one of his previous skirmishes to our very own Pure Filth is now available to download in the music archive. Big thanks to Tinitus who rescued this set that we thought was otherwise lost and quite by coincidence he’s also playing alongside Mr Liberator this December.

October 27, 2008
We’re all a little bit excited about November’s guest - Dave Tarrida. Dave’s legendary mixes are real crowd pleasers - nasty, dirty, yet with that sophistication that can be heard in his production work - whether you’re a die-hard acid tekno head or prefer to swerve around to a more wonky sound - you’re going to enjoy a Dave Tarrida set.
So why not warm up with the weekend with a couple or three of his recently recorded DJ sets.

Music Archive: Rowland the Bastard & The Advent
September 26, 2008
Especially for the forthcoming Mega-Filth, we’ve dug up a couple of sets and uploaded them to the Music Archive.
First up, a firm favourite on the Filth dancefloor, Rowland the Bastard throwing an acid techno bender at Pure Filth back in 2004.
Download: zip archive
Second up, not Filth recordings, but a couple of old, old sets from The Advent, I think these date from the late 90s, early 00s but still some kick ass techno to get you in the party mood.

Radio Filth 001: Mark Hawkins DJ Set
April 16, 2008
The Hawkins-a-thon continues unabated on Talktofilth. Mark has been busy on the decks preparing for his epic five hour DJ set at next month’s Pure Filth. So, we’ve got a two and a half hour DJ set here that’ll give you a little taste of what Mark might have in store for us in May.
As such, I’d like to announce the first Radio Filth broadcast. With Radio Filth we aim to bring you regular DJ sets and live performances from the various residents and friend of Filth who regularly play at the night, all recorded exclusively for the Talktofilth website. The residents have their orders, it’s a chance for them to play something a bit different to what they might play in the club – or maybe they might like to just bang out those favourite slabs – so hopefully they’ll be a bit of variety coming through.
Check here for details of May’s Pure Filth. Mark Hawkins will begin a residency at Pure Filth toward the end of this year – more details soon.
Check the music archive for a Mark Hawkins gem.
Music Archive: Mark Hawkins DJ set
April 7, 2008
Back in 2003 when a certain Neil Landstrumm played at Pure Filth for the first time, there was quite a queue of people wanting to play alongside the techno legend. Mark won the day and proved more than a match with this blinding set.

Filthy Music Archive Opened
March 7, 2008
Big thanks to Trevor who runs the excellent electronic music website Fun in the Murky for giving us some space and much bandwidth so we can open the Pure Filth music archive.
I’ve started with an oldie - this one is Small Paul and Russ playing back-to-back at the Old Angel in 2000. This was actually the first Pure Filth I ever went to.
In the meantime do visit and bookmark www.fun-in-the-murky.com - it’s an excellent site full of details of new releases, more dj mixes and live sets to download.
